The Psion Guild Department of Defense
The Defense Department has been created to deal with defense of Guild members from psychic attack, defamation, and other potential problems. If members have difficulties with persistant psionic attacks, and it is decided that they did not deliberately provoke or antagonize the attacker, the Department of Defense may be called upon to step in and give them aid in dealing with the problem. That aid may be in the form of augmented shielding, counterattack, both, or quite possibly something entirely different, such as diplomacy, depending on the situation.
The Defense Department is now officially open. The Defense Department is not currently accepting applications for positions. However, when we are, it will be posted here.
10 November 2005: With Dalerin's resignation, a vacancy had opened up. After an interview process, Turbo was appointed and was confirmed by the staff. 11 October 2005: The Defense Department has officially opened, and is ready to hear any defense-related problems emailed to Firestorm. Please include your Psi Name, city and state/country to get a general idea of location, and a detailed description of the situation. Problems will be responded to as quickly as possible. 19 August 2005: Firestorm has taken over leadership of the Department of Defense. He looks forward to opening it as soon as possible, meaning as soon as there are a few more members of the Defense team. Firestorm can't do it alone.
