It's slightly possible that EM atmospheric noise can be transduced by neurons, though I don't have the slightest idea how, but if that's the case, Wifi is the least of our worries. We've been bombarded by electromagnetic radiation from all frequencies for decades now.
I dunno. Someone go sit in a steel box and tell me if their head feels any better :-P

Nah you want a Faraday's cage. they block out radio waves.

To charge a laser, first determine the type of laser you intend to operate. If you intend on using a continuous wave laser, then you cannot- strictly speaking- charge the laser, as the laser is on continuous output. However, you can engage the laser; to do so, ensure that all laser elements are functioning and in their proper places, and then close the circuit enclosing the laser system. Alternatively, if you intend on using a pulsed laser, then you can charge without operating the laser. This can be done by isolating the discharge capacitors that maintain the laser pumping, and closing this circuit independently of the circuit containing the rest of the laser system. You can also simply operate a pulsed laser, rather than merely charging it, by leaving the laser in its' original setup, verifying the functionality and placement of the individual laser elements, and closing the entire circuit. I hope this clears things up for you, and good luck on the continued operation of your laser(s). Questlove's rebuttal wat ¯\(°_o)/¯ Pavlov finishes him with You expressed an inability to charge your laser- syntactic decomposition retrieved it from your statement of "i dont kno how 2 charge ma lasor" and I thought that I might be able to help you out. I do hope that my explanation improved your ability to charge the laser in question. |

Well, I heard that if the cage is screened, and solid (air ions can get through a mesh) then it's actually very conducive to psionic function. Puhajic? Hungarian researcher working in the US.
He also found that, by giving the cage a huge positive potential in relation to earth, he could actually negate psi functioning totally within the cage.

I have no idea to the validity of that statement, nor to how it relates to my statement involving radio waves.

I love how this place hasn't changed a bit. Still having wierd, random conversations...
Still making fun of Psiseeker... Is he still around?

Actually, a Faraday cage can be any conductive closed container. The wavelength of EM which a Faraday cage permits is dependent on the size of the grid. Therefore, as you decrease the grid size, you decrease the wavelength of EM permitted. The first to go is radio, then microwave, then IR, then light, then UV...although once you get to higher energies you have to increase the metal's thickness.
A fully enclosed steel box that's grounded to a copper electrode driven deep into the ground would be the absolute best EM shield. You'd need an air supply though.
